Rising Star Music Competition AT THE FRISCO SCHOOL OF MUSIC Think "American Idol" for all instruments, and you will get close to the excitement level felt at this year's RISING STAR MUSIC COMPETITION at the FRISCO SCHOOL OF MUSIC. The Competition was held on Saturday April 21, 2012 at the Frisco School of Music's Performance Hall. Music students ages 9-18 competed in two age categories, performing on their instrument of choice: piano, guitar, bass, voice and drums.
